Does Tellshot send my screenshots to an AI?
No. Capture, text recognition, and fix-request formatting happen locally. You choose what to copy and where to paste it. Optional anonymous crash reports are separate.
How do I paste into my AI app?
Choose an output template in Tellshot. For destinations that need separate image and text pastes, use the two-step flow: paste the image, then the fix request.
Why does it ask for screen-recording permission?
macOS requires this permission to capture your screen. Tellshot uses it when you take a screenshot. The app guides you through setup.
